Four cards

Hello everyone,


Although i am eager to begin another mini album , i first made some cards . Because my mini still has to grow in my mind  . I it is still a little blurry because i have so many idea i want  to work out . But my pain is killing me .  And i still have to finish two special things i started in february as i was informed about my mother's bad condition .

So here are the cards .

 A rose , a frame , a birdpicture , some rhinestones , a swirl , corners cut with a punch . That's the recepy for this card .

My second card : An adorable child - matted on a background i altered by adding text using GIMP .

I used that background as an envelope for a tag , from which i punched the corners .

 Then this adorable kitten , i couldn't resist this 3 D cutting sheet it  ! I love 3 D !

This is the left corner of my card , using twine and a small clothespin .

And the right corner with a small butterfly ,














And a little bit of stamping , colored with just a pencil , i do not have any markers of any kind .

And my last card :

A gracious hand with a package full of lovely wishes ! And again i used twine , how i love twine , it gives me that lovely nature feeling !
And a bit of lace and glitter glue .

 

This is it , i will be back when my pain is less severe , i wasn't able to make anything  today . And making this post took me ages . But i got a pleasant surprise, my girlfriend brought me 8 beautiful white embossed cards with views of all kinds , like heart shaped ,double heart shaped , rectangle , round , double rectangle ...beautiful to use both as a card or in a mini album !

Mini album

Hello everyone ,

I hope you had a nice weekend , I' ve been working on a mini ( not so mini  15 x 15) ,  i started a while back

 I used  5 peaces of scalloped cardboard that i covered with patterned paper . I added pockets using envelopes big and small ones and embellished each page leaving much room for pictures and journaling . 

 I used a goldfibred cord and an old earring , a golden star an a bought flower .

 

My first double page , with on the left side a mat for a picture and under the girl in frame ther analso be added a picture . On the left side also a mat hided behind the roseflower and a small pocket with alittle card inside and in the under right corner a small tag .

My third page has  folded envelopes glued together ,they look like this when opened :

The fourth doublepage consists of This beautifull bird with hanger and it holds  a spot for journaling and  the sweet memories booklet ,as you see it opened here :

The right side is a gatefold page :

 It has a mat for pictures on the top and a picture can be put  behind the flower border . On each of the sides there is an opening for putting in more journaling or pictures .

This is the back of my album .

I really enjoyed making this album , as it is a gift for my neighbour Emy who goes shopping  to provide for my cat's food and drink , and who puts  my green container outside as this impossible for me to handle  ..THANKS VERY MUCH EMY  !!! My Rocky appreciates it too , as he smackles everything ,neatly empty ! That' s it for today,

Summer is approaching !

It is terribly bad weather and i had such terrible pains the last two days i didn't manege to make anything .  The weatherforcast promises two hot days  for the weekend ,more than 30 degrees , and then it all collapses again . The pain is still very severe so my post is very short .

I've made two cards on monday . Here they are :

 

Light as a feather ,this sweet humming bird ! I 've matted it and embellished with a ribbom and a small gold colored item used for jewelry making .

This watering can gives a nice sunny feeling , it makes me forget this stormy day !

   

 

I have to say good night to you all ,i am exhausted .

Beautifull Flowers

As i used to love gardening with all my heart, ( my failed backsurgery made an abrupt end to it and i've shed many tears for that ), my love for flowers is the main subject of my cardmaking now .

Fuchsia's for the first card . Very elegant beautifull flowers which bloom untill  the end of autumn .

I made a corresponding stickpin from whire and beads to stick in the organza ribbon .I made two bows and  added a bow of small white ribbon .
Then i matted the 3D pictures i cut out , i used a template to cut by hand .

Oh how i love ribbons and laces and buttons ,! These Shabby chic , vintage, romantic and country styles i also apply in my interior .

My second card is a 3 D vintage rose . I bought a magazine with 3 D sheets of flowers for condoleances vintage style .

 

I made this card according to a video from Christina Griffiths from card-making world.com . At the bottom of the card i made a slit coordinating to the width of my cardstock  on which i first applied my ribbon with doublesided  tape  . I attached it first on the backside of my card and then put it through the slit from the front towards the inside . I covered the slit with a ribbon .

A card, an envelope and a giftcard

Hi, everyone ,

I hope you have a nice sunday afternoon !

Here are some things that i made , half finished some time ago ,and apparently had stashed away  .
I found them and finished the job.

First this card , cut out by hand, i embellished the sides and corners of my cut outs with glitterglue , so the uneven parts would't show. Then i built  a flower , a freebee peacing pattern from the internet , by craftycat957, i think , placed it on a mat and adhered it to the back of the front . Then simply tied a ribbon around .

The giftcard holder i made according to a video of following the papertrail, Strong cardstock covered inside with olive green wallpaper . I tied the old lace around and fastened it on one side with double sided tape creating  a hold for a card . On the right side i cut a large peace of patterned paper and folded several times to get 3 pockets for giftcards or tags . I covered the sides with ribbon to finish . The pictures are horrible . I had to use my flash due to the bad weather .

On the front i tied my lace together and adhered flowers and a curly stamp .

This envelope i made from a light cardstock covered with left over wrapping paper; i liked the design .
Then i stiched over the sides and attached old lace on the  border . Tied it also with romantic ribbon and added flowers . I would like to make a matching card to go with it .

This envelope and the matching card is reserved as a gift for my dear friend Viola Mahr, who encouraged me and offered her help for making this blog . THANKS,VIO !!!

My first blogpost

Hello everyone,

I would like to share with you some things i made recently and i will be adding on a regular base, i hope , because my nervous pains are sometimes so severe . 

I made this trifold shutter card as a gift for my neighbour .I embellished the two sides , so she can add more pictures.

Something else i made is a wordbook. A gift for my aid in the household who is getting married in Polen next month .
I hope to post tomorrow : a card  , an envelope and a giftcard .
