My aprilmade cards

Hello everyone , I would like to share some cards I have been making over the past few weeks .
Because the weather over here in Belgium has been quite warm ,  I gathered all the stuff I needed and took it out on my terrace, I have a daybed there since last year . ( I can not sit due to a failed back  surgery ) .These cards , however are made prior to the last two weeks :
They are all 3D cutting files , This one I matted ,  the white background is embossed and I made two slits to pull my ribbon through, decorated with a brad .

This is a stepper card , I like making them . This one has two tags . One with a ribbon loop to pull aside so the other one gets to be visible . I used a brad , some twine , a button with rhinestone flower , some small flowers and a leaf , did some stamping . The cutting and matting of my card and the cutting of my image (3D )and embellishing took me nearly 3 hours !!!

Another stepper card .I kept this one very simple , just a ribbon and button and rhinestone flower :

For this next one I used a remnant of a cut out die , embellished with gemstone flowers and added a stamped butterfly . In the two right corners I used a Martha steward punch  and added a pearl . on the flower stem I added my sentiment tag with some lace and ribbon .

I  love this delicate 3D flower , I  cut the white roses circle with a special punch , added some small butterflies , pearls ribbon and a sweet sentiment . Also stamped a little birdie in the right corner .

A Sarah Kaye 3D file mixed with a stamped fence .Little white flowers with small beads .

And this gorgeous cutie I matted on a stamped oval ,and matted again and secured the ribbon before adhering my subject . A handmade flower with brad on the bottom .

I ador roses !!! I matted these 3D cut rosefiles to two diecuts . Added a golden sticker border . Stamped the birdhouse and sentiment on the tag adhered with a tiny brad . Ang gave the rosehearts some glitter too , you can not see on the photo .

This cute 3D image I had lying around for quite some time .

For this card I cut off half of the front card , decorated the front and the inside with patterned paper and adhered the 3D birds to a flower die cut which I then adhered to the front . The card stays together with a belt .

This was very delicate cutting !!! I made this one for a wedding anniversary .

I have some 3D cat files too and thought I would make some  , for those who love cats : I added rhinestones , a gold sticker sentiment , some roses with glitter glue from my stash , a zig zag ribbon and a fibre rolled up to a small ball .

My last card : I punched out the oval and added coloured paper to cover the cutout flowers and added white pearls which I coloured with alcohol markers  to adjust to the blue patterned paper . Added gold sticker corners and some glitter glue here and there . Also added a fine golden sticker border to surround my oval frame .

Well that's it for today . I always wait until I have a few cards to show because I have troubles to type my text because of my pain . So when I feel up to it , some weeks have passed . I have other cards ready and photographed , but I need to download them  from my camera and use my adobe photo shop to adjust them and copy them with AJ compress copy to get the right size and it all takes me much more time than I would like because of that terrible pain . But I hope I may give some inspiration to someone . Your comments would be much appreciated ! That way I can also visit your blogs !

Have a wonderful week , take care ,

Hugs , Rosa

Hello to all of you , it is high time to update my blog again !

But first How is the weather in your part of the world ? Here in Belgium jt has been very cold for the last months and now temperature has increased , the whole of my garden is exploding with flowers all at one time . Here is a picture of my garden taken yesterday :
This is just one part of my garden , behind that  ( fake ) water well is another part .

Here are some of the cards I have been making over the last four weeks :

This is a 3d file from a special 3D magazine I've had for some time  ,explaining how to make the bench , but I finally came around making it .I thought it looked nicer with a special border. So I used my rose corner punch and a small butterfly punch , some prima roses and glitter sticker borderlines . I also made a small plaid and cushion for the bench . Cosy , isn't it ? My social aid was so smitten by it , I gave it to her to give as a present for her grandchild .

This next card  I made for ...".just for you " . Always comes in handy to have lying ready .
The card was bought with the background , I only needed to remove the parts from the oval . I coloured the tiny dots around the oval with a gel pen and added pearls and a 3D file cut by hand ( as  I always do ),added a few buttons and ribbon and stamped the sentiment.

The same for this one . The green paper flower , glimmered ,  is removable so the tag can open up .

This next card is also made with the rose corner punch , pearls , and a  very, very old button .

Next a simple print I copied three times to make in 3D .

This 3D file was also in a magazine , it took me some time to cut the small and fragile parts 3 times .
I added some leaves out of my stash , a ribbon and a piece of lace .

Next a thank you card , with a cut and embossed  flourish . A stamped butterfly  and rhinestone and some glitter on the flowers , but not visible on the photo .

This was also intricate cutting , with all the small 1 cm peaces for 3 layers . I adhered my image on the inside of an aperture card . I embellished the aperture with a border of a doilie and rhinestones.

This is how it looks opened .

Here I made a white round frame with a rose punch  and adhered to the back of the front card which was cut off to about half the card .Then I adhered my topper with 3D cutting .

This cute mouse asked my attention for a similar card

 .

Then from my Sara Kay collection an aperture card combined with some stamping  .

I like making belt cards , so that was next on my list. A punched border with contrasting backing paper , small tag , pleated ribbon where the belt goes in the card . Twine around the flowerpot .

And a  card with a small pocket to hold a tag , I used a doilie and  buttons and of course my 3D cut image .

This is one of my favourite card suitable for congratulations .

Then I wanted to make another Sara Kay 3D card ., and that's it for now .

Wishing all of you much crafting fun , till soon I hope . I had another injection today , besides my morphine , to try to temper my nerve pains a little . They control my life completely, knocked me down , made me totally dependent on social help . It is almost  four years now that I  don't know anymore what it's like to have no pain .But life goes on and making  cards is the main thing I do to make my days a little easier to cope with .
Till later
