My second embroidered card , my card made for Viola Mahr and other 3Dcards

Hello everyone , over here in Belgium we finally have a little bit of summer now ! July and August were dreadful .

For about a year now , my email friend Viola Mahr from Singapore has been a great support and help to me .

I've made a card for her , for all the efforts she has done and her belief and trust in me .

 I've made this flower with the two beads . A peace of sheer fabric ( cut  round and doubled  ) to go under the flower and I cut two lace leaves out of a garment 
You can see it on one of my next photo's .
This embellishes the right under corner of my card .

And a lacy bow with a white small flower on the upper left corner of my card.

 I em embroidered some curls , and added rhinestones on the top .

 I made the bird and flowers in 3D










And this is how it looks :

 And I went on with embroidering for the following card:

 First my 3 D flower ,

 These cards were bought by my girlfriend ( since I can not walk anymore ) and they  already  had the pattern on it for making the holes to embroider . It took me a whole day to embroider .

 I'm not the embroidering type at all , but my terrible pains sometimes force me to a minimum of movement .
I much rather make my 3D files such as these :

My flower embellishment with tassel and self made stickpin.















I hand stitched the oval frame .
And looped a ribbon through the holes , tied in a bow on each side .

 These hearts are free printables ,I cut them up and I used a gold metallic pen to highlight some spots and added white pearls to the flowers .

For my last card I embroidered a corner with a  cross stitch .

Thanks again to my friend I got a new punch , in the sales at pippoos . It is actually a border and corner  punch in  one . Here I only used the border punch with small leaves.  (The corner punch has a rose to brighten the corner .  Very pretty . )



 Here I made the faux stitch .

Hello and a happy Sunday to all of you !

I've been making some cards and a mini- mini album , size about 7 by 8 cm .I'll start with the mini-mini :

A few things to embellish and for closure I used a jewel that I fastened with a brad . And a golden elastic I fastened to the back to go around the up standing part of the flower jewel.















These are the pages per two :

Every page is made of a self made envelope on brown paper .I made a flap for the envelopes and inside each pocket there is a tag for holding pictures .

And here are a couple of cards I 've made :

A friend of mine made jam from my grapevine , and gave me some bottles. So I made her this card :

I used twine , lace ,  a piece of fabric , cut out some small teapots ,added a few flowers and brads

This is the inside of the card .

Actually it was a mistake ! I cut this jarr and with embellishing I saw this was a card stock that was already printed on ...... but I found it quite suitable and so I colourded it , it was an unexpected extra ,and my friend was delighted !












 Two fall cards :  Made In 3D

 I had about 4 kilo of apples on my small apple tree this year , it lead me to making this card

And a  baby card :

I used a digital stamp and coloured it

And a couple of butterfly cards : This first one I sewed ,

I'm not very good at embroidering and I did not have a guide , only a picture I got from somewhere on the Internet . It kept me busy for about two hours !

  For this card I used a cutout butterfly , and I stamped the flowers and the leaves . Used three pearls ,one for each flower .And some stones for the butterfly .

 The text I stamped is in Dutch , it says : Because you are very special.










Please know that you all are special , to someone  , To your family if you have any , to your friends ,  but  also to our creator ! We can put our cares in his hands as He loves us .

Square mini album

Hello everyone,

It is Saturday evening and I hope you all had a nice day !

I have been watching  video's on you tube the past weeks on the primadonnacrafts-channel and visited this lady's blog at http://www.primadonnacrafts.blogspot.com . She makes such beautiful mini-albums and she inspired me to use some my square cards that I don't make cards of because this format is to expensive to send in Belgium  . It does not comes  close to what Donna creates of course ,but this is the result :

 This is the front side, you can not see it on the photo  but I used a piece of acrylic to create a  see
  through pocket , to hold the little red paper frame .

This is my first page,

 I hand stitched the sides of the tag holder.































 It opens downwards, with two mattes and some stamps :

 

And it opens sidewards , holding three tags .

It unfolds like this :

Here is a close -up from the framed roses, embellished with a scroll of old music paper and a gold sticker butterfly I glued to pink paper and then cut out with my siccors .

The middle section unfolds up and downwards : the upper part has a pocket , with a ribbon waved through the holes , holding a big tag embellished with a piece of an earring .
The middle section holds four tags which I put into two folded doilies.

 The down page has a pocket created by glueing a piece of old rose lace covered with a piece of white lace .

 These are the tags:

 The ribbon runs down to the other side of the page again forming a pocket , on the side a gold rose  sticker .

The right side opens up :

I glued an acrylic peace to gold the tag and stamped the backside .

 Then this is my last page , with just patterned paper, no embellishing.

It looks like this when its closed . I only used 3 double folded cards and one half card . And hinged them together with a small peace of card stock folded with a one cm gap in between .
