Winter Wonderland

Hello everyone ! It has been quite a while again since my last post , and I hope you are all doing fine . Winter is settling in and I've been especially busy making cards from the wonder full Victorian Christmas CD  I bought from Joanna Sheen's web shop as I mentioned earlier .  I would like to share them now with you . This is really Winter Wonderland !

But I must warn you , this is picture heavy . Here we go : Since my style is 3D cutting I printed the layouts  two or three times . This leaves me with bigger or smaller images that  I can use for another card or tags . I found  that copying to Word left me with less quality of pictures , so I decided to work this way .

I almost always used the backgrounds of the CD , but here I used an embossed piece and combined it with a leftover piece .

This is the inside , every card has a little gift tag  a little gift tag . Sometimes on the front or as here hidden on the inside .

I cut  a border into smaller pieces to decorate this card and adhered some rhinestones .

There are such pretty backgrounds to play with :

So sorry, some of my pictures are not so good .
Again a small tag inside .

I love this gorgeous picture ! ..........Well I love them all !!!  I really didn't know where to start with .

You would jump right  into  it , wouldn't you ?

I decorated the corners of this card with leftover paper from a border I cut for something else . It was still on my desk and nearly fell on my card , and so there where my embellishments !

The twine scalloped nestie is made from old sacks of potatoes I got from friends that used to have a little store . I found them in my cellar , washed and cut them up for usable parts .......

Here I chose for the detail on the outside and...

.....the whole scene is found on the inside .

It unfolds like this ....

For this card I stamped a Christal border in  dark blue  and embossed and matted a piece of card stock for the lovely picture .

I also stamped the inside .and adhered the the tag with a ribbon .

This card opens two ways .

This window cutting die is so much fun to work with !  I embossed the background .

Well , I hope winter won't be to cruel on you , where ever you live ! As for me , it cannot be gone too soon  ! I love winter only on paper !

Take care ,

Rosa
