Springtime

Hello everyone ,I am so sorry but I have not  been able to post for a long time , my health issues  are one reason and the other reason is the hard time getting acquainted with the  windows 8 version .

But here are some cards I was able to make in the past 2  months :

I used images from the CD from Jane Shasky:  From the heart of the garden,  to make the 3D cuttings to create  these cards :
The CD holds toppers , backgrounds , embellishments , frames and borders etc.

For the next cards I have been doing some recycling . The images are from a calendar from Marjolein Bastin . It is a weekly calendar which means I have 4 the same images , perfect for 3D cutting !It"salways a pity that  on photo 's you an not see  the four layers of hand cutting very well .

.Only this card is from a cutting file . The butterfly I stamped twice .
So sorry for the bad pictures . I am not yet able to work with the new photo editing program . And because of the bad and dark weather ,  I had to take some pictures inside .

Thank you for visiting ,
Take care , hugs , Rosa

It has been quite some time ,since my last post , but I have had health issues that have kept me from taking pictures of the cards I had already made a few weeks ago .

So I now want to share them with you . But the weather was so terribly cold I had to take them inside .  Since I am still not feeling very well this will be a rather short post concerning description , but picture heavy . I also have laptop issues , and will probably need to buy  a new one , which means another system and to also learn how to handle it .

So here are my cards : This first one is made from parchment vellum ,and the golden rose sticker I have made one in an earlier post . It took quite some time to get the roses done and then I coloured the leaves on the back with brush points .

This flower sticker I've coloured with pencils .

Next are all 3D files I have used :
Adorable 3D cat and kittens :

Next card I made following the You Tube tutorial on Spellbinders from Christina Griffiths from Card making Magic and her Flowers, Ribbons and Pearls blog and I applied it to my set of dies .

Here I've used two different oval dies , one with a punch , the other with my Double Do : 3D pyramid

I also love my memory box dies , here the lace butterfly :

A gracious 3d spring flower .

Some bear hugs for someone special :

A diaper fold flowerpot and 3D roses :

This lovely bird , a simple card for someone who loves clean cards, playing with some dies .

That's it , hope to be back soon , Hugs Rosa

Mini album, stack the deck principle

Hello everyone,

I want to finally share this mini album I have been making . It took me quite some time because blue is not really my colour  to work with . But the person I made it for loves blue and butterflies . So this is the resultof my efforts :

The album is made with 6 standard size white envelopes  (6 by 2,8 inches or 15 by 11 cm ) and according to the stack the deck principle ( Laura Dennison from The Paper Trail ) . I have used a brown ink pad to distress the edges and I have used my Rose punch , little butterfly punch , border punches , my butterfly die from Cottage Cutz  , my MFT Flourish die , my Quinn Flourish from Memory Box ( thank you Kathy for your information !  Another package is on its way ! ),  lace and ribbon , pearls and rhinestones .

This is the cover seen from sideways : Some jewels and a little note  pad and a wooden heart . The cover is made from 3 peaces of strong package material ( boxes ) , cut to size , a little bigger than the envelopes .

The lace ribbon is attached to a Journal note that I printed off the Internet and it can be taken out of the blossoms . I cut these blossoms out of...... wallpaper : 3 times to adhere with foam pads to get some dimension .

This is how my album looks when opened :

And the next pages :  with a crocheted flower, which reminds me I should make some more . There is place to hold some notelets .

The left side opens up , and offers more place for pictures or journaling.

 It continues as followed:

A small card made from Jane Shasky CD is tucked under a ribbon .

Cottage Cutz butterflies , so nice to work with , very delicate .
And as you see each rounded flap is actually a take out card  for pictures

Each envelope also contains an extra mat, cut with decorative scissors.

Self made stickpins and flowers with tiny beads .

My last page:

 Some extra details :

I hope you like it , if you find the time comments are very much appreciated , for my next post I will have some cat cards,  coloured sticker cards and  some small  pergamano try out ,thank very much for your  visit !

Goodnight to all of you , take care ,

Hugs, Rosa
