Hello everyone,

I'd like to share some cards i have made .  Cards with a high summer feel , although the weather here in Belgium  is pure harvest like  ! But my crafty mojo was back and so here are my cards : A 3d card again and most of them are . About a month ago i harvested my prunes and that was more than a month earlier than normal ! So here's a  little harvest for you :

 Some flowers are due too :

 I used my last little tea-stained tag that i purchased from Viola Mahr 's etsy shop .

I

 A little cupcake card, a bit of hand stitching ( I'm beginning to like it - i bought myself some Madeira Blending filament I will show in another  blog post )
Some lace and glittery stone !

And I couldn't resist this lovely basket !

This is a stepper card , It looked complicated to make , but it was very easy .

And besides these cards I finally made a pincushion ! I had to wait until my pain was less intense as to be able to sit down at mt sewing machine for about 15 minutes to stitch this together . Had to wait quite a few months, because i saw Melissa Philips'wonderful pincushions last winter .They are so gorgeous!!!
I would like to ad something on the upper corners .

This is it for today , and it was quite a long post for me to write , laying down on my right side . So I'll call it a day . Sleep tight !

A box of chocolats and a few cards

Hello dear friends ,

I opened a box of chocolates and the form of a tag came out ! Not being able to resist   i covered it with a peace of wallpaper . Cut out some fall elements out of patterned paper . Tied a ribbon and attached a few glittery leaves . Used some glitter glue on the sides .


The box ( I first cut in half )  I also covered with wallpaper , the same ribbon and leaves .

I made an envelope to go with it , it opens at the four sides .





 And here is the little giftset all together .









Next a couple of cards :

 I folded the cardstock up to get a pocket and glued the sides together with double tape .


On the edge of the pocket I glued an image of which I cut out the middle part , as a see through , or a vieuw as you wish..







Then I made a simple envelope from white printpaper to fit in de pocket and wrote a wish in the middle .According to the vieuw . In the envelope I tucked a salmon colored card to write a message on, I used a corner punch . .

I faux stitched the sides of the pocket card and added a lace border .

In my stash I found a part of a 3D flower and glued it on to the pocket area .



For my next card : I used felt . Cut a branch , a bird ,a wing ,and sewed the sides of the bird by hand . I kept it really simple , with gold colored sticker lines and a few gold sticker leaves in the corners . Used a glitterstone for the eye .

For this last card I cut a rectangular peace out of my cardstock and cut the same rectangular out of off white cardstock but left a peace at the bottom for my sentiment or wish . Added the image with foam tape on the inside and used a small paperpatterned border and some ribbon and two tiny brads.
Also used a small punch at the  two borders  .

This is it for today !  The weather here is terrible and i think my cat is going to sleep indoors tonight ! Hope to be here again with more papercrafts , till then,

Happy Holidays

Hello everyone,

On the start of summer vacation i wish each of you a happy holiday where ever you may go , and a safe home journey !

I haven't been able to do much this week, due to my heavy pains and due to the results of added medication on which i do not respond well . ( no crafty mojo ) .

But i did manege to make 3 cards .  2 cards made out of my 3d stack .. ..Things i had already cut  . When i go to my mother in the home to feed her , i sometimes do some cutting when she sleeps

Here' s a peek of the first  one . This one I stamped ,

  and used a martha steward punch .



 On the inside is a hidden pocket with a small tag .

 Next a 3D card :

I used some plastic rings out of my stack i never used before , because i do not like to work with it .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

Another card , a very vintage girl , I love everything vintage and shabby chic  ( sigh ) . Also 3D ,

 I used several backgroundpapers , a paper doily and
two small paper hearts .

Belongings

Hi,everyone, The weekend is coming to an end and i hope you have enjoyed it !

I read lilibean's blog yesterday and melissa offered a challenge . And since i am working on a memory album i thought i would gather some small belongings of  my parents .

So i found a baroque template cut out from an old book . And i found a hairpin ,glued it on a heart of  felt with a leaf from the craft store  i had bought me in  last year sales  .

Then i found two stickpins my father wore on his ties and a medaillon of my mother which opens up .

A small key and a cat ( sticker) . A trim of old lace tied in a bow . In the middle a rose bling , a bit covered up by a golden sticker . 

The corners of my card i embroidered ( using golden stickers ).It took me all day to do that , embroidering is not my thing . But i like the result.

 I' ve matted it all and embellished the right corner with a ribbon , an earring in the form of a leaf , a bought flower i found in my stash , a prima rose glued on some other stash stuff.

So this is the result .

Four cards

Hello everyone,


Although i am eager to begin another mini album , i first made some cards . Because my mini still has to grow in my mind  . I it is still a little blurry because i have so many idea i want  to work out . But my pain is killing me .  And i still have to finish two special things i started in february as i was informed about my mother's bad condition .

So here are the cards .

 A rose , a frame , a birdpicture , some rhinestones , a swirl , corners cut with a punch . That's the recepy for this card .

My second card : An adorable child - matted on a background i altered by adding text using GIMP .

I used that background as an envelope for a tag , from which i punched the corners .

 Then this adorable kitten , i couldn't resist this 3 D cutting sheet it  ! I love 3 D !

!

This is the left corner of my card , using twine and a small clothespin .

And the right corner with a small butterfly ,














And a little bit of stamping , colored with just a pencil , i do not have any markers of any kind .

And my last card :

A gracious hand with a package full of lovely wishes ! And again i used twine , how i love twine , it gives me that lovely nature feeling !
And a bit of lace and glitter glue .

 

This is it , i will be back when my pain is less severe , i wasn't able to make anything  today . And making this post took me ages . But i got a pleasant surprise, my girlfriend brought me 8 beautiful white embossed cards with views of all kinds , like heart shaped ,double heart shaped , rectangle , round , double rectangle ...beautiful to use both as a card or in a mini album !
